All of us know that John Wayne is a classic. The western Movies legend, John Wayne (Family name: Marion Morrison) was born in 1907 as a son of a pharmacist and in his early time he worked with his father. Afterwards he excelled in being a soccer player. However he was not destined for that role. With the aid of his movie producer and director friend John Ford he tried his luck in media.

Back in 1930 he began to have a very successful career. He hang on his career from that year 1930 up to the day of his death. While his career thrive he was nominated for Oscar and even won some awards during his time. He was not only an actor but a director as well. In year 1960 his directed film The Alamo won Oscar award.

Nevertheless when he was going under health treatment he quit smoking and chew tobacco instead but returned to his bad habit when he recovered. Apparently, his smoking habits caused him to be sick. At long last John Wayne is a versatile person because he is a player, actor and director.
